Good And Big Offerings

You congregation that have arrived here and do stay in the presence of God, you shall be offering sacrifices to God, bring things that are very good and beautiful – precious things.

If you go to the market to buy a very good and big fowl, people see you and say, “Your fowl is very magnificent.” When you buy a very good and big fowl, people admire it, while you are on your way going home.

Is it true or false?

Congregation: It is true.

Even so shall all the things you give to God be very good, big, remarkable and fine.

How do you feel when you are going home with the fowl or goat, and people admire it?

You feel happy, satisfied and joyful.

Let me tell you the truth. As you are happy to get something that is good, even so God shall have joy when you bring what is good to His presence.

Unacceptable Gifts And Offerings

But people go to the market and buy what is upside down – bad and ugly, they buy the cheapest. People bring a sick fowl or goat with diarrhea, and give it drugs to make it well. Some people bring what is blind or pale, small and slim, when they should bring something big and huge. People bring the low quality gifts because the price is very low and they put the change in their pockets.

Such people are wasting their money and time. They have not offered anything to God, because their offerings are not worthwhile.

It is at the place where you buy what you shall give to God that God accepts it. That is where God starts to look at it as an acceptable offering. And when you buy what God does not like, He rejects it at the place and time of purchase.

Assuming that you budget N10,000 to buy a fowl for God. You have said it and God has heard it. But when you get to the market, you are told the price of the big one is N10,000, and the price of the small one is N7000. There and then, you decide to buy the small one because it is good and presentable. As you pay for it, even so God turns His face away from the offering, because He has already heard what you said. God will not accept such an offering. Do not waste your money and time, by doing as you like in giving God your gifts and offerings, which are not acceptable to Him. Anything that you did not prepare very well for, it is of no benefit to you to give God such a thing, because He will not accept it.

God is a king above all kings. Everything that you shall do for God, you have to start on time to prepare for it. Make adequate provisions. You have to prepare as a person who is going to the king’s palace.

How To Give Gifts And Offerings To God

If you want to give something to a president, you have to prepare your gift and also prepare yourself. You have to make yourself good and fine, for the president to see you and appreciate your gifts.

What you give to God is often suddenly, without all the necessary considerations, preparations and provisions. You do it just anyhow. You always do it anyhow possible. When you finish presenting such gifts, the minister of God prays for you, and you dance home with joyfulness and gladness of heart. Everything ends the way you go home – without being accepted by God, without your knowing it. That chapter, event, is closed, without any blessings or benefits for you.

Every time you want to give something to God, you have to sow new garment, prepare yourself very well. Make yourself good and fine. Provide a good and big gifts and offerings. And come with joyfulness and gladness of heart to bring your gifts and offerings to the presence of God, who is King of Kings. As you do all these things, God has already marked you good, even before you come to is Temple.

But yourselves do things anyhow. Some people even say, “It has to be done that way,” – anyhow, anyhow and anyhow.” Even so you blessings are anyhow, disorganized, uncertain and unprotected.

Son of man, myself is teaching you congregation how to come to the presence of God; how to bring your gifts and offerings to the altar of God. God taught me all that are necessary. Myself knows how Himself wants His children to come to His presence.

Myself understood what God taught me. When a person is teaching you, you have to be looking at what he is teaching, and also be looking at his face. By so doing, you will learn how God wants something to be done, in order to get that thing right. That is why every time myself is teaching you how to find the face God, how to please God.

Son of man, if you want to give something to God, prepare it very well, as if you are going to appear before a president. Do so as if you are preparing to go and see the president. Do not do it anyhow, not cared for and not well organized. This is because God does not use His eyes to see anything that is disorderly, disorganized and indecent.

If you do not prepare your gifts and offerings very well, all that you are doing or bringing before God are just like wasted years, useless efforts. You are just wasting your energy and money.

You will be counting all that you have given to God, but in your record in heaven, there is nothing written to show that you have given something to God. Some people count how many times they have given to God, but their records do not show any date of giving gifts and offerings to God. Despite the fact that they are giving and giving and giving, even so many times. And they complain that despite all that they have given to God, no blessings or rewards have being given to them. They do not know that God has not accepted any of their gifts and offerings.

There is a standard set God. When your efforts reach the standard, God will accept your efforts and gifts and offerings, and do something for you. And if what your efforts and gifts are not up to the set standard, even if it remains 2%, He will do what?

He will not accept. It is a must that what you do for God must reach the expected standard.
